Design Studio:
Embellishments to
Decorate Your Costumes

Sunday, January 19, 2014

1-4pm

Your costume is all sewn together and it fits! You’re thinking it’s ready to wear, but wait…something is missing...  It’s so plain…there really needs to be some decoration. But, what do you use and how do you put it on?

For examples and ideas about how to decorate and embellish your costumes, join SITU for a fun-filled Design Studio led by Karen Lovejoy, SITU-University Coordinator.  A wide variety of techniques will be presented and discussed. Karen will have costumes displaying various embellishment techniques.

This Design Studio is SITU’s 2014 Kick-Off Education Offering, and is your chance to see different ways to decorate costumes. Embellishment techniques generating sufficient interest will be presented as hands-on workshops in the future.
